What do I do if I lose something on race day?

Lost items found on the course are turned in at the Info Booth in the Finish Line Festival. Please visit the booth if you have lost or found an item.

Items not claimed by the end of race day will be taken to the Berkeley Half office. Clothing items will be donated to a local charity.

Is there a place to store my stuff while I run?

Yes! A Gear Check station will be located near the start line on race morning.

  • Use the clear plastic gear bag provided at the Expo.

  • Write your bib number clearly on the bag.

  • Tie it closed before dropping it off with Gear Check staff.


Please note: The Berkeley Half Marathon is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Do not store valuables (wallets, phones, car keys) in your gear bag. Any clothing discarded at the start line or on the course will be collected and donated to charity.

What if I forgot to pick up my gear bag after the race?

Please email customersupport@berkeleyhalfmarathon.com within 7 days of the race to request a bag return. A $15 shipping fee applies.


Unclaimed bags will be donated to charity after 14 days.
