Can I request a refund?
Standard registration is non-refundable. A refund is available only if Run Sure Refunds was purchased with the original registration and the request falls within the 2026 coverage dates. Run Sure cannot be added after registration.
What does 2026 Run Sure cover?
• 100% registration refund through March 31, 2026
• 50% registration refund through August 15, 2026
• Deferral fees waived through October 15, 2026
• Virtual-conversion and event-change fees waived through November 1, 2026
What is included in a refund?
The refund covers the eligible portion of the initial race registration. Add-ons, donations, and processing fees are not refundable.
How and when will I receive my refund?
Approved refunds return to the original payment method. Please allow 7–10 business days for processing.
How do I request a Run Sure refund or benefit?
Submit a support ticket using the email address on the registration. We will verify that Run Sure was purchased and apply the benefit available under the dates above.
Can I transfer my registration to another runner or change distances?
Race Roster registrations can use the Participant Dashboard for person-to-person transfers and distance changes through October 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. A $15 change fee applies, plus any price difference for an upgrade; downgrades do not receive a refund. If your entry was migrated from RegHub and the dashboard attempts to charge the full registration price, submit a support ticket so we can handle the change manually.
What if the event is cancelled by BHM or a government entity?
Run Sure participants may request an eligible refund in accordance with the coverage dates above. Any broader event-cancellation policy will be communicated directly to registered participants.
