Cancellations / Refunds / Event Dates

Can I request a refund?
Registration is non-refundable unless you purchased Run Sure Refunds during your initial registration (available through December 31, 2024 for $10). This option cannot be purchased after you register.

What is Run Sure Refunds?

  • 100% refund available through March 31, 2025

  • 50% refund available through August 15, 2025

  • Deferral fees waived through October 15, 2025

  • Virtual conversions and event-change fees waived through November 1, 2025

What is included in my refund?
Your refund covers the initial race registration purchase. Add-ons, donations, and processing fees are not refundable.

Where and when will I receive my refund?
Refunds will be returned to your original form of payment. Please allow 7–10 business days for processing once your request has been approved.

When can I request a refund?
Refund requests are accepted until August 15, 2025 (50% refund deadline). After that date, no refunds will be issued.

How do I apply for a refund?
If you opted into Run Sure Refunds at registration, please email customersupport@berkeleyhalfmarathon.com to request your refund.

What if the event is cancelled by BHM or a government entity?
If the race is cancelled, Run Sure Refunds guarantees participants may request a refund of their registration fee in accordance with the timelines listed above.

Can I transfer my registration to another runner?
Yes, please submit a support ticket to request a transfer for next steps.
